Agria’s expanded Veterinary Business Development team offers practices more support

UK-Map-v2.1Agria Pet Insurance has doubled the size of its Veterinary Business Development team to give practices across the UK an even greater level of specialised, personal support.

Now with six Veterinary Business Development Managers spanning practices countrywide, Agria is set to further its already strong links with the veterinary sector following continued growth in the UK.

Christian Romeril, National Veterinary Sales Manager for Agria, leads the team: Our new, larger team gives us even more time to support practices and their clients. As the Agria product is so good, the role of the team is far less about selling and more about building relationships.”

Agria’s Veterinary Business Development Managers and the regions they cover are now as follows:

  • Christian Romeril – Scotland
  • Ceri Shrigley – North West
  • Oana Fotescu – North East
  • Yvonne Hodson – Midlands and East Anglia
  • Mark Woodward – South and South East
  • Judith Niblett – South West and Wales

New team members, Oana, Yvonne and Judith, bring with them significant experience of supporting practices, vets and their clients with pet insurance. They join Ceri, a qualified veterinary nurse of 25 years, Christian, who has worked in the pet industry for over 20 years, and Mark, an insurance expert with more than 15 years of experience behind him.  What they all have in common is a genuine passion for pets and dedication to helping the vets that care for them.

The team’s level of knowledge and understanding reflects Agria well. Founded in Sweden 125 years ago, Agria is now one of the largest animal insurers in the world. Since joining the UK pet insurance market in 2011, Agria has forged strong relationships with the veterinary sector and animal organisations in this country, and become the underwriter and administrator for prominent pet insurers Kennel Club Pet Insurance and Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) Cat Insurance.

The team expansion follows the doubling in size of Agria’s Aylesbury contact centre and the investment in a second call centre for Agria, which opened near Bedford in 2014.

Agria has recently announced investment in its new eClaims system, developed to make claims processing faster and more efficient for vets, as well as increases to annual veterinary fees benefits of up to £12,500 for Agria Pet Insurance lifetime policies.
