Salary: £21,000-£24,000 per annum, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly evolving company in the Pet Insurance industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be a part of a busy finance team. The role could suit a candidate who is in the early stages of their accounts career and is looking to gain experience and develop their skills within a finance department.

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks such as processing invoices, maintaining the purchase ledger, making payments to suppliers, ensuring that the premium collections/claims payments are processed, posting cash to SAGE and the carrying out of weekly bank reconciliations.

 

What we would like you to have:

You will have previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar, preferably in insurance, and have a working knowledge of Sage 200. You should have excellent attention to detail when recording financial transactions and proven knowledge of Excel, preferably including V lookups & pivot tables. You must enjoy working in a fast paced environment, be self-motivated and confident in communicating with all stakeholders. Your previous experience will have enabled you be able to prioritise tasks and use your initiative during demanding periods.
