Key things you’ll be doing will include

As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the claims team and ensuring the delivery of first class pet insurance claims handling. Your time will be spent ensuring all claims assessment activities operate efficiently and effectively on a daily basis. You will oversee claims quality checking, monitor calls and feedback to team members. Setting operational targets and plans, you’ll monitor individuals’ performance and give them everything they need to thrive.

You will be the primary contact for the Claims Assessors, Claims Specialists and Training Leads and work closely with the Claim Manager in delivering and maintaining departmental standards.

What we would like you to have

You must have relevant and demonstrable experience, as a Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader in Claims, in the insurance industry. You will be competent in addressing unsatisfactory performance and absence management; be approachable and have the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will have proven experience in managing, coaching, motivating and developing team members. You will be an articulate individual with excellent communication and relationship skills.

Ideally you must have gained an animal or insurance related Industry qualification. You must be motivated to achieve positive results and meet team targets.
