At Agria Pet Insurance, marketing has a pivotal role in generating sales opportunities and we now wish to improve our marketing capability with the recruitment of an enthusiastic and talented Direct Marketing Executive.

This is a great opportunity for a creative individual to have autonomy for the direct marketing strategy; including email, direct mail and inserts.  Copywriting and creative play a big role within this position.

Agria is currently investing significantly in improving its communications effectiveness with the objective of expanding the business rapidly over the next 18 months. This is an exciting time for an individual with drive and ambition to join our business and contribute to our future success.

Key things you’ll be doing will include

As a Direct Marketing Executive, your time will be spent building and managing direct marketing campaigns for Agria and its partners. You will be responsible for the whole campaign lifecycle, including concept, briefing, production, reporting and optimisation. You will ensure all marketing material is subject to compliance, technical and proof reading processes. The role holder will provide reports on marketing campaign performance and maintaining a general knowledge of our key distribution channels. You will also have an understanding of competitor activity within those channels.

What we would like you to have

You must have relevant experience in direct marketing – particularly with email and be experienced in writing copy and producing direct marketing campaigns, both traditional and digital highly desirable and have proofing experience. You must have Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy. You will have exceptional organisation skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will have excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise your workloads. You will have gained knowledge of using Excel at an Intermediate level in a previous role. Although not essential,an IDM qualification would be highly desirable.
