Job title: Telephone Sales Agent

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, plus commission (OTE £25,000 - £35,000)

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week working a rotational shift pattern

Due to our continued success, we have some exciting opportunities for highly motivated sales representatives to be a part of an award winning team within our Contact Centre.

As a Telephone Sales Agent, you’ll be contacting our database of new pet owners (who have free temporary cover with us) and selling our exceptional pet insurance to customers. You will be responding to queries in a friendly, personable manner and you’ll follow up on pending quotations and call-back requests in a timely manner. Having identified customer needs, you will highlight the product features and benefits of policies and will ensure you have provided our customers with all the information they need to make an informed decision and purchase. Additionally, you will maintain customer records and take telephone payments in compliance with security protocols.

You’ll be required to work a rotational shift pattern that covers the hours of 9am- 8pm, Monday to Friday and 9am- 5pm on Saturdays, working one in two Saturdays.

What we would like you to have

You will have experience in handling and overcoming objections, preferably in a sales environment but not essential, with the ability to deal with customers over the telephone in a confident and professional manner. You should have a creative approach in being able to negotiate and be persuasive when dealing with customers. You must be competent in handling and working through customer objections.

You must enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be passionate with the desire to achieve positive results and exceed targets. You must be a fast learner who is open to learning new things and being able to adapt in an ever changing environment. You will be skilled at using your initiative to solve problems with a positive attitude and will have the ability to cope under pressure with determination and perseverance.

We will be holding 2 separate Contact Centre Insight days for shortlisted candidates on the 24th and 25th April 2019. This is an opportunity for you to get an insight into who we are and what the role will entail. During the Insight day there will be activities for you to demonstrate your skills and suitability for the role. This role is easily commutable from High Wycombe, Thame, Haddenham, Amersham and Chesham.
