Agria Pet Insurance combines fast, easy claims settlement with flexible lifetime policies – always with a high level of veterinary fee cover – supporting pets, their owners and their vets.
And with optional benefits that owners can add to their policy if they wish, our insurance cover can suit the needs of individual pets and their owners. So when a client has their pet insured with Agria, you can have the confidence that, if treatment is required, you can proceed in the way that’s best for the animal.
Animal: Oriental shorthair
Symptoms and diagnosis
Having begun kittening earlier in the evening, as the night drew on one kitten had become visible (tail and foot) but even after an hour had not been fully birthed. At the recommendation of the vet, the owners took Jade in, and she gave birth to the first kitten on the way. Whilst at the vets, five more kittens arrived and the vet could feel one more to come.
Because Jade’s owner had included optional Breeding Risks cover within her policy, they were able to claim for the cost of her out-of-hours treatment. We settled £78 directly to the vet just four working days later.
Cover for specialist situations
Breeding Risks is just one of the optional benefits we include in our policies. We understand that whilst some benefits are essential for some pet owners, they’re not relevant to others. By making them optional, we can provide the right level of cover to those that need it, and keep the cost down for those that don’t.
