2015 is the first year that Agria in the UK has sponsored agility. Working with Country Shows Agility, the specialist pet insurer is supporting a range of classes throughout the year, including the Agria Pet Insurance Agility Grand Prix, for large dogs, and the Brillo International Bounce finals for small and medium-sized dogs.
The winners of these classes each win £400 towards a holiday with their dog, courtesy of Agria and Dog Friendly.
Alastair Cook, Head of Sales and Marketing for Agria Pet Insurance, says, “The energy and fun that exudes from dogs taking part in agility is fantastic, as are the amazing partnerships we see between them and their owners. Our focus at Agria is on helping pets stay fit, healthy and enjoying life to the full, so being involved in the agility world is a perfect match for us.”
Agria Pet Insurance is based in the UK and provides thousands of cats and dogs with flexible lifetime policies with annual maximum veterinary fees benefit of up to £12,500. The specialist pet insurer is 125 years old this year, and 2015 has seen Agria also sponsor National Pet Month and launch a new partnership scheme with rehoming organisations to offer insurance to rehomed pets, no matter what their age.
The Agria Agility Grand Prix will take place on Saturday 1st August at The Pet Show, with additional Agria classes running throughout the weekend. To find out where other Agria-sponsored agility classes are taking place during the rest of the year, see www.agriapet.co.uk/agility.
