Pet Pawtraits 2020 - the winners!

After five weeks and hundreds of entries, we have our five fantastic winners of Pet Pawtraits 2020 - each winning £250 for their nominated rescue

2020 has been so challenging for so many of us, and animal rescues and rehoming organisations are definitely no exception. With usual fundraising events unable to go ahead, extreme difficulties with rehoming pets due to social distancing, and the ever-increasing threat that many of the so-called 'lockdown' puppies and kittens may end up in need of their help - it's a perfect storm. In addition to our ongoing support to animal rescues across the UK, we're delighted to have donated an additional £1,250 between the five rescues nominated by our Pet Pawtraits winners.

And here are those winning photos!

This is Nessie, winner of 'Happiest Smile' - judged by Marc Abraham - congratulations to  Nessie and Border Terrier Welfare

This is Billy Blue, winner of 'Hyper-focused' - judged by Agilitynet - congratulations to you and Shropshire Street Cats, who said: "What a fantastic pic of Billy Blue who won the "hyper  focused" category in your photo competition and thank you to Pam his owner who nominated Shropshire Street Cats to be awarded the £250 donation from Agria Insurance.  It has been a really tough year for us as we have been unable to do any face to face fundraising and this donation will help us to continue to care for the rescue cats and kittens in our care. Just wonderful!"
