Agria’s new initiatives at London Vet Show 2015

Congratulations to our West End ticket winner!

It was fantastic to see so many of you at London Vet Show entering your Agria Golden Ticket into our prize draw! The prize was tickets to a leading West End show, and we’re delighted to announce our winner…!

We all felt a bit like Willy Wonka on our stand at London Vet Show this year as we collected in hundreds of Agria Golden Tickets for our very special prize draw.LVS widget 4

But, like most things, there could only be one winner, and that lucky delegate was Caroline Coombs, a vet from Animed Veterinary Hospital.

Caroline was delighted when we she found out she was our winner she said ‘’I am so excited about having won the Golden Ticket  from Agria and I am really looking forward to seeing the show’’. Caroline has decided to go and see Phantom of the Opera in Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Well done Caroline, and thank you to everyone who entered – we hope you all enjoyed your time at the show, and of course, your delicious Agria chocolates!

A free pass to London Vet Show 2016

Our competition winner can already start looking forward to LVS 2016 having won a full delegate pass to next year’s event, worth £395!

The London Vet Show is, without doubt, one of the most important veterinary events of the year. This year, the organisers kindly sponsored one lucky veterinary professional with a full delegate pass, worth £395 + VAT!

But as our winner already had tickets to the 2015 show, the prize was adjusted to a full pass to next year’s event.

Many congratulations to James Glass from Lancaster Veterinary Centre practice, our lucky winner!

James correctly answered the three questions we posed online and was drawn at random as the winner. His 2016 pass gives him complete access to all clinical and business sessions plus the exhibition and all sponsored show content.

Even though this year’s event is only just behind us, thank you James for coming to see us at this year’s show and telling us how you are already looking forward to full access next year, courtesy of London Vet Show! James says, “I always enjoy the London Vet Show and winning Agria’s competition for a free delegate pass is a real treat!”

London Vet Show somehow seems to get better every year, and this year, the Agria veterinary team was there in force to answer questions about Agria Pet Insurance. We were especially pleased to talk to so many of you about the unique ways in which practices benefit from working with us, in particular our popular Appointed Representative scheme.

If you weren’t able to catch up with us at LVS, please do get in touch with your Agria Territory Manager for details about the scheme.

The correct answers for the delegate pass prize draw were as follows:

  1. Q. What breed of dog do the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge have? A. English Cocker Spaniel
  2. Q. In this x-ray of a cat’s stomach what has he ingested? A. Hair ties
  3. Q. Which alternative therapies do Agria cover on their lifetime product? A. We cover all three: Shock Wave Therapy, Laser Therapy and Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy

Congratulations again James, we hope you have a fantastic time at next year’s show!

How would you like to win tickets to a leading West End show? Agria Pet Insurance will be making this happen for one delegate of the London Vet Show (LVS), 19-20th November 2015, with their fabulous Golden Ticket competition!

This year, every LVS delegate badge pack contains an Agria Golden Ticket – also available from Agria Territory Managers. Simply take your ticket to the Agria stand (M55) at LVS for your chance to win two West End tickets. While you’re there, you’ll also receive a delicious treat.

If your practice wants to help more of the pets you see benefit from pet insurance, Agria’s new Appointed Representative (AR) scheme could be just what you need, so do ask the team on the stand. The 125-year-old pet insurer, and underwriters of Kennel Club Pet Insurance, has developed the scheme to make it easier for practices to help their clients get to grips with pet insurance and find the right cover for their animals.Visit stand M55 2015

Working as an Agria AR gives your staff the ability to advise clients about Agria Pet Insurance and set-up insurance for the puppies and kittens you see via Agria’s 5 Weeks Free cover online. Full training, which counts as a CPD session, is delivered by Agria in-practice and online, followed by on-going Agria support, as and when you need it.

‘We love the lifetime policy Agria offer and wanted to be able to tell our clients that we recommend Agria. The process to become an AR was so straight forward and uncomplicated. The paperwork is not daunting in any way and our Territory Manager was there throughout the process to answer any queries no matter how small.’ Katie Gillis – Holmes and Murphy Veterinary Practice

London Vet Show is key date in our year and an event we always enjoy. Interest and take-up of our innovative Appointed Representative solution has already been very strong, so we look forward to talking to both new and familiar faces at the show where we can discuss this and the claims initiatives we’ve recently launched to make this necessary process slicker for practices,” says Simon Wheeler, Managing Director, Agria Pet Insurance.

London Vet Show will be held at Olympia, Kensington, London, on 19-20th November 2015. For more information, please visit
