Terms and Conditions – Agria Dog Walk 2021

 

These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Participants of the promotion agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. This virtual fundraising event is open to residents in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man who are aged at least 18 years who meet the terms and conditions to qualify. Employees of Agria Pet Insurance and its affiliates are permitted to take part. 

2. For each individual person who makes a donation of at least £5 via one of the charity donations links at https://www.agriapet.co.uk/agria-dog-walk/, Agria Pet Insurance will donate an additional £5 to that charity, up to a maximum total of £10,000. The additional donation due to each charity from Agria Pet Insurance will be calculated and donated via the same fundraising links as soon as reasonably possible after the promotional period ends, but no later than 31st October 2021.

3. Should any individual person choose to make a donation of at least £5 to more than one charity via the donation links at https://www.agriapet.co.uk/agria-dog-walk/, Agria Pet Insurance will donate an additional £5 to each of those charities, up to a maximum total of £10,000 as stated in point 2.

4. The promotional period is between Wednesday 1st September and Thursday 30th September. Donations submitted outside of the promotional period via the Agria Dog Walk fundraising links will still be received by the charity, but will not be eligible for the extra donation from Agria Pet Insurance.

5. Participants take part in the Agria Dog Walk 2021 at their own risk. Please ensure you and your dog are safe and well enough to walk, and that conditions are suitable. Please adhere to government advice in relation to Covid-19 advice and restrictions which may be relevant to your walk. Neither Agria Pet Insurance nor the participating rescue charities will be held liable for any injury sustained by people or dogs taking part.

6. When sharing photos or videos from your walk with your dog, you must have taken it yourself or have permission from the person who took the photo or video, in order to submit it.

7. Photos shared as part of the Agria Dog Walk may be used for marketing purposes.

8. Your personal data will not be shared with any other third parties and your marketing preferences will be unaffected by taking part in the Agria Dog Walk.

9. During the promotional period, Agria Pet Insurance will also donate £1 for every new dog policy sold. The total donation due will be calculated as soon as reasonably possible after the promotional period ends, but no later than 31st October 2021, and donated to UK rescue charities chosen by Agria Pet Insurance.

10. Agria Pet Insurance does not accept any liability for the way in which donations received by the participating charities are used.

11. Any photographs depicting any animals in unsuitable or unsafe environments, or considered by the Promoter to be inappropriate, will be removed and the entrant may be banned from the Agria Facebook page. Any comments considered by the Promoter to be inappropriate or offensive will be removed and the entrant may be banned from the Agria Facebook page.

12. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that does not adhere to these terms and conditions. 

13. Events may occur that render the event impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof. 

14. If for any reason any aspect of this cannot run as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries. 

15. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

4. The promotional period runs from Wednesday 1st September until Thursday 30th September.

5. You will automatically be entered into the prize draw by completing the points in step two, above.

7. Five winners each week (a total of 20 winners) will be selected at random on 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th September.

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions –Fitbit prize draw

These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Participants of the promotion agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. This prize draw is open to residents in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man who are aged at least 18 years who meet the terms and conditions to qualify. Employees of Agria Pet Insurance are not eligible to enter. 

2. To qualify for the prize draw, you must set up a new Agria insurance policy for your dog or cat, this includes setting up a continuation of a free Agria policy into a full policy.

3. The promotional period is from 9am on 4th November until further notice, on the days stated in the promotional emails and SMS in relation to the prize draw.

4. You will automatically be entered into the prize draw if you take out a new Agria dog or cat policy, or you continue your free Agria dog or cat policy into a full lifetime policy, during the promotional period, using the promo code stated in the promotional email or SMS in relation to the prize draw.

5. Agria does not accept any liability for damage or injury sustained as a result of receiving or using the prize.

6. A winner will be selected at random by computer by 11th February 2021, and every 3 months thereafter.

7. The winner will be contacted as soon as possible via the phone number or email address provided on their Agria insurance policy details by a member of the Agria Pet Insurance Customer Services team.

8. The winner will be able to choose which colour Fitbit Versa Lite they would like (subject to availability at the time of ordering) and Agria will aim to fulfil your preference, however cannot guarantee your preferred colour.

9. The prize will be delivered to the address on the winner’s insurance policy once the full policy has been active for at least 30 days and the first policy premium payment has been successful.

7. The winners will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible after being drawn, by comment and message in response to their Facebook comment.

8. Agria Pet Insurance will contact and donate the prize money directly to the nominated rescue organisations by 12th June 2021. Agria does not accept any liability or responsibility for the way in which donations are used by the winning rescue organisations.

9. Cat hampers will be made available via a voucher code which will be emailed to the winners and distributed by Love Louie

10. The four overall winners will be required to provide an email address for correspondence relating to their cat’s image to be used in marketing materials.
