Riding for the disabled
Last week, we celebrated our partnership with Riding for the Disabled Association ltd with two brilliant events.
On Wednesday, we welcomed members of the RDA community to Agria HQ, including the inspirational Khianna. Aged just four, Khianna watched Natasha Baker MBE win Paralympic gold at the London 2012 Games. After later losing her sight, she discovered a love of horses through RDA and now competes in dressage herself. It was an honour to present her with a saddlecloth signed by Natasha – one of her heroes.
One of our team said “Last week’s visit from Khianna was really moving. She is such a determined individual, and hearing about the barriers she has overcome with her health and how much the RDA has supported her physical and mental wellbeing is just incredible.”
The following day, the HR & Compliance team volunteered at the RDA National Training Centre, and as our team member says, “We saw first-hand how much care and effort goes into making each session special and safe for every rider.
