No age-related restrictions or exclusions

We don’t do ‘veteran horse insurance’ – we treat all horses as equal. That means we can offer each horse full cover for internal and external conditions for their whole life. Unlike other insurers, we don’t put restrictions on the level of cover for older horses and we don’t exclude age-related conditions.

Affordable premiums for all ages

Many owners worry that insuring an older horse will be expensive – so they’re pleasantly surprised to find that age has very little impact on our premiums. We know that many seniors are fit and healthy and we don’t drive up prices just because of their age.

Transfer cover to new owners

Many horses will have more than one owner in their lifetime: children’s ponies can change hands every few years as they are outgrown and competition horses often switch to a slower pace of life hacking or as a companion in their 20s. Our lifetime policy can be moved to a new owner at any time, so the horse won’t suffer exclusions in older age.
