What you’ll need to make an equine claim
Providing all the relevant information could speed up the processing of your claim.
You’ll need your:
- Policy number
- Itemised invoice from your vet or online pharmacy
- Your horse's clinical history from your vet practice
- If this is your first ever claim, we will require further details about your horse, length of ownership and supporting documentation such as passport and vetting certificate, to speed up the processing of your claim, you can email these to info@agriapet.co.uk making sure to quote your policy number in the title of your email.
Who is making the claim?
We recommend your vet make your claim on your behalf as they will have easy access to your bills and horse's history. You may also submit your own claim.
I'm a vet making a claim for a customer

To make a claim for your customer, you will need the following to hand before you start:

The horse's clinical history

The customer's Agria policy number
- 4
Reference number for previous claim
Only if this is a claim for an ongoing condition
You can also submit a claim using Vet Envoy or Teleos if you subscribe.
I'm a horse owner and want to make my own claim
If you would prefer to make your own claim, you will need the following to hand before you start your online claim:

Your Agria policy number
- 2
Your horse's medical history from your vet
- 3
Itemised invoice(s) showing each item of treatment provided
- 4
Is this your first claim?
If this is your first ever claim, we will require further details about your horse, length of ownership and supporting documentation such as passport and vetting certificate
Once you have the above, you can fill out the online form below. We may need to contact your vet to verify some of your submitted information.

What you can’t claim for
Pre-existing conditions. This is any sign of illness, injury, or behavioural issue that began before your policy started.
Conditions that began or showed symptoms before your policy started are considered pre-existing. Conditions that arise after your policy exclusion period ends are covered as long as the policy remains active.
The cost of routine or preventative horse care, such as vaccinations and check-ups.
