Agria Riders Selected for FEI Eventing World Championship Shortlist
Just weeks after the birth of her daughter Senah earlier this year, Ros continued her extraordinary return to elite competition with characteristic grit and brilliance. Along with her partner, Lordships Graffalo (“Walter”), she delivered yet another historic performance at the Badminton Horse Trials, adding to an already remarkable list of achievements.
Ros and Walter have firmly established themselves as one of the most formidable and harmonious horse-and-rider partnerships eventing has ever seen, combining consistency, athleticism and championship-winning class. With Aachen on the horizon, the pair now has the opportunity to further cement their place in eventing history.
It's really exciting to have been selected onto the long list for the upcoming world championships with Lordships Graffalo after his wonderful win at Badminton this spring. I couldn’t wish for a better partner, said Ros!
Joining Ros on the shortlist is fellow Agria-sponsored rider Tom, one of Britain’s most dependable championship performers, who has been selected with two exciting horses: Brookfield Quality and JL Dublin.
The 15-year-old JL Dublin arrives in outstanding form following a superb victory in the CCI-S4* at the Bramham International Horse Trials, while Brookfield Quality further strengthens Tom’s hand. Known at home as Norris, the 17-year-old gelding recently produced another top-class performance at the Kentucky Three-Day Event, finishing an excellent fifth overall in the prestigious five-star competition.
“It’s always a huge honour to be considered for Team GB, especially with the strength and depth of combinations we have in this country,” said Tom.
“Aachen is one of the most iconic venues in the world, and to have two horses in contention is something I’m really proud of. It’s a real team effort, and credit goes to everyone at home who helps keep the horses performing at their best.
“Between now and final team selection, it’s very much business as usual. Both horses will continue with their individual training programs, with plenty of flatwork, fitness work and jumping to keep them progressing, while also making sure they stay happy and fresh. Every detail counts at this stage, and the focus is on having them in the best possible shape should either be selected for Aachen.
“Fingers crossed we can make the final team and have the opportunity to represent our country.”

For Agria, having both Ros and Tom on the shortlist reflects the exceptional calibre of its sponsored rider team and reinforces the brand’s continued commitment to supporting excellence in equestrian sport.
Final team selections will be confirmed closer to the championships, but the shortlist announcement marks a significant milestone on the journey to Aachen.
